The Tren de Sóller is much more than a means of transport. It is a historical, cultural, and tourist icon of Mallorca. Since its inauguration at the beginning of the 20th century, this railway has witnessed the social and economic development of the island
The Cursa i Marxa Popular Camí de Ferro aims to combine sport and culture in a unique, original, and innovative popular race. This event allows participants to enjoy the scenery, nature, and history along the old railway track.
The train will be temporarily closed from 11 December 2023 until 5 February 2024 and the tram will be closed from 8 January until 21 January 2024 inclusive. both included.
The Sóller Train donates the entire box office takings from 19 November to UNICEF in commemoration of World Children's Day.
