The Sóller Train donates to UNICEF in commemoration of World Children's Day.

Once again this year, the president of Ferrocarril de Sóller, Óscar Mayol, together with UNICEF Spain, has carried out this initiative aimed at improving conditions and giving visibility to children's rights.

The generosity of those who bought tickets on Sunday 19 November, either at the ticket office or online, has resulted in a significant collection of €7,725, which will go entirely to UNICEF Spain's Emergency Fund.

The relationship between Ferrocaril de Sóller and UNICEF Spain is now in its ninth year of joint collaboration, reflecting an ongoing commitment to the protection and promotion of the fundamental rights of the world's children.

This joint effort not only seeks to raise vital funds for UNICEF Spain's Emergency Fund, but also to raise awareness of the importance of safeguarding the well-being of children in a global context. The initiative seeks to remind society that children are a global issue that deserves attention and action. Every euro raised becomes a small brick towards building a safer future for children,

With this resounding success, the commitment between Ferrocarril de Sóller and UNICEF Spain proves once again that solidarity and social awareness can go hand in hand.
